i'm looking for a second hand electronic drumset to practice at home.
These are the three best offers I got untill now:
-Yamaha DTXpress II for 850euro's 1 euro = +/- 1 dollar)
-Roland TD-7 for 700 euro's
-Roland TD-6 for 1000 euro's
Is there a big difference between these three?
which one is the best?
Is there one I should definitely not buy + why?
I want to play double bass-drum, with the yamaha i can use a double pedal, with the rolands i have to buy another KD-7, is it worth it?
Thanx, |

I have no experience with the others but I have the td-6 module on a hart prodigy set and it's a very kicking module. I don't know anything about the td-7, but I weighed the td-6 and DTXpress module very heavily before purchasing.
If you go to samash.com and look at the electronic set with the td-6 on it, there are a few videos showing some of the features. And also, yamaha's site has a nice little feature where you can play around with the whole set! Hope this helps! |

jee. hey. I have td-6.
they are brilliant
So I think that you should buy them i've also played yamahas electric drum in our school and they really sucks.
so I go for the rolands.
And hey. there is now opinion to play with doublepedals in rolands as the same as yamahas _________________ scrau vaan vittu teillekkin

| TD6 is really the only way to go, it is the only one still in production. The Express II is extinct as of 2004. The TD7 hasn't been made in at least 4-5 years. Just like computers, if buying secondhand, you want to get the most recently made piece possible. On top of all that, the TD6 is the best sounding/functioning of the 3 anyway. |
