You got another module? I though you had a DM4. Anyway either 4 or 5 you just plug the 2nd trigger from your snare or duel trigger cymbal into another channel and set the voice to whatever you want. I don't remember the 4 having a rimshot sound though. Maybe the 5 does.
BTW, what snare are you thinnking of getting?

Sure, the D4 have a rimshot sound and so does the DM5. I've fooled around a lot with a dual trigger pad, tapping them into separate channels of my D4. I think the grooviest sound I got from the dual was when I combined a poppy snare with a timbale sound on the rim. It was cool! _________________ My Premier Artist Maple set! |

OK, found the rim shot sound on the D4... but it hardly sounds like a rim shot to me. Maybe a tiny bit.

I have a DM-5, but I don't have any dual triggers. However I believe you can use a stereo cable from the trigger, then split it into two mono inputs on the back of your tone generator.
In the past I have had 2 or 3 triggers going to the same input using mono Y-connectors. Works great! |
