I bought one also, I know the colors had something to do with the wiegh or heavyness of the spring. I got the yellow AND I got my 20" China in and I LOVE the sound, I almost got a 22"... now to upgrade a crash and get a better stand for my china, the one I bought off of Ebay is total crap. to thin, giving it to my cuz. _________________ Mapex Mars 6 piece - Pert Paragon Cymbals |

| The red spring is a medium weight and is recommended for crash cymbals. The yellow spring is a heavy weight and is recommended for chinas and ride cymbals. |
