| Hi everyone, I just recently bought an 8 inch Sabian AA splash and it had alot of fingerprints on them, so being the perfectionist I am, I had to clean them off.. I also play guitar so I saw some guitar cleaner on my desk so I thought I would try using that... It worked like a charm, but I was wondering if it wasnt a good idea to use guitar cleaner to clean my cymbal?? Does it effect it in anyway? I thought it would be safe because, if its delicate enough for wood then surely it would be ok on brass.. |

I doubt that you did any damage to your cymbals. In the future I would use a cymbal cleaner. Just my .02 |

| Thx guys, I was worried that I effected the sound of my splash hehe, I was getting paranoid and thought it sounded different.. weird how your mind plays tricks on you like that. What I was worried about most was my cymbals rusting or something...thx for the replies |
