All right! You've all convinced me...(or was it me who convinced myself...) but yeah, I'm gettin' a friggin' Ludwig Kit.

Now.

I can't find anything good (besides this one, but it was $1,200.00)

Can anybody find a decent kit that's Ludwig, preferrably Classic Maple?


I don't care what the finish is, unless it's some gay crap.

try massmusic.net... last time i checked they were selling em for $1600ish. or do you want something used? ebay has a whole bunch, including this cool 1972 double bass kit that im kind of partial too:

MassMusic is good. You might also want to look at www.drumsetc.com.

Look into the standard kits and also look into building your dream kit using the individual drums.

You might also want to make a note of the prices at both sites and then ask your local dealer (or any other, not so local dealer) to meet or beat the prices. That way you have access to more local servcie and support.

Do your research and have fun!

I hope you get the kit of your dreams at a price you're happy with.
