I have the opportunity to buy a second hand 1995 Ludwig Classic for a pretty good deal of a price. Usually I've played on bigger sized kits, but this one is 10" 14"ft with a 16" bass drum (never seen that before). I have been thinking about getting a second smaller kit for a while and I was wondering if anyone has played on these sizes, is a 16" bass drum too small? Basically I would be using it to practice on and perhaps for small gigs since it would be a hellava lot easier to cart around in my small car than my current kit. The snare that comes with it is a DW popcorn snare, I couldn't find much info on it and was wondering if anyone knows anything about it. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
