• Mystery Cymbal X (its cracked POS, but has nice trashy sound)

Forgive the background. The practice space walls are not pretty where I play.

Also, I got rid of that annoying hunk of metal on my Bass Drum. First, I made a stencil. Then, used a regular old flat piece of scrap metal, a dremel tool and 1 cutting disk. I took my time cutting out a rough shape. Then, grinded down the rest to the shape I had drawn on it. Then, I used 2 wire brush attachments to remove any unwanted debri. It had a lot, being scrap metal and all. The next step, I used 2 abraisive attachments to get the brushed metal look and a drill, of course, to make the screw holes. I took the plastic piece out of the tom mount, that was originally on the drum and cut it into a spacer, to cut down on vibrations.

Let me know what you think. Smile pics, below.

What a beautiful set. I have been considering going away from the kick tom mount but being oldskool and used to the reaches and flow to the floor toms I think it would feel odd and uncomfortable to me.

Maybe I will go and try a set up and see how it feels. I like the look of the tom stands but function and comfort is more important.

Again great kit and set up . Enjoy
