Okay, I have been looking into a good beginner kit to buy for some time now, and I think I may have found something decent to start with..
A pulse pro drum set,
22" x 16" bass
12" x 10" and 13" x 11" toms
16" x 16" floor tom
5-1/2" x 14" snare
And Im going to buy a Paiste PST 3 cymbal set
16" Crash
20" Ride
14" Hi Hats
Also, I plan on replacing all the heads since I hear that they arent very good. I think im going to go with Remo heads, unless someone convinces me otherwise. Any input is greatly appreciated. |

the sonor im getting is a semipro/pro drum kit and its only $1500
pulse drum are good, but if you wanna get the best bang for your buck either look at sonor kits, or gretch _________________

| Well, Im just starting to play, and am on a tight budget of sorts. What I put in the first post is about as much money as I can spend, which ends up being $525+shipping and price of heads. |

if you're on that kind of budget, Pulse drums aren't a bad choice. they're cheap, and at least a reputable brand amongst bargain drum makers. _________________

for $525, the kit you're getting is going to serve fine. Eventually you are probably going to outgrow the Pulse kit, but you'll only be out 525... |

In the same price range, I would look more at a CB drumset. I think they're one of the best beginner drumsets available. _________________ "One day I feel I'm on top of the world

| yea, if you dont want to go into the higer beginner sets(not a bad thing) then stay with CB or Pulse, because they are great for the price and set you up for your drumming carrer |
