I currently play on a 6 pc DW pacific(PDP)LXE kit w/ Charcoal Fade lacquer finish over Kurillian Birch exotic wood.

Sizes are

8x7
10x8,
12x9,
14x12,
and 22x18 kick.

Also a few new snares,

1- Pacific 3.5"x13" Steel Chrome
1- Pacific SX 5.5"x13" 100% Maple
1- Sonic 6.5"x14" 100% Maple

I use Zildjian & wuhan Cymbals, they have never let me down, and I love the sound they produce, I have the following.

1-14" New Beat Hats,
1-6” A Custom Splash,
1-8" A Custom Splash,
1-10" A Custom Splash,
1-12" Wuhan China,
1-20" K Custom Ride,
1-18" A Custom Medium Thin Crash,
1-16" Wuhan S Series Medium thin crash,
1-16" A Custom Projection Crash
1-18" Oriental china

I currently use DW Pacific 900 Series Hardware, and Gibraltar Hardware. I use Remo coated Ambassador heads on my Toms, Powersonic on my kick and the Ambassador with reverse dot on my snares, I also use Vic Firth Danny Carey Signature Sticks.

the powersonic is awesome.
another cymbal to add is an 18" wuhan china.

Different thickness's and brands of china's will give a slightly different sound.

When you have a large selection, and you like a particular sound, you may not want to differ too much, so you get something similar - but not the same.
